A GROWING LOVE FOR FOOD
My family and I have always been big food lovers, and we bond over a hearty meal regardless of where we are. I discovered a love for cooking when I was twleve years old, when my mother encouraged me to learn how to make simple foods like tea, toast and noodles. As I learnt how to make more complex and intriguing dishes, it became apparent that I had a natural affinity for trying out new and innovative things in the kitchen. Today, I like to spend my free time making comforting Indian dishes whose recipes I inherited from my family, while also attempting the occasional challenging bake in the oven. I also enjoy eating and taking photos of my food and exploring cuisines when I travel. To date, my absolute favourites are Indian, Chinese and Thai food. Although I'm years late, I started documenting my food journey on Instagram in July 2020. It has been a beautiful and enriching experience, and I hope to learn and discover more about food with every opportunity I get.
